Learner Engagement Advisor
Fixed-term, 0-Hour ad-hoc contract
£13.00 per hour, plus holiday pay

Working with the Contract Manager and key stakeholders, assisting in delivering the contract outcomes, which are primarily employment-focused; Ensuring that appropriate activity is undertaken with each customer to achieve sign-ups, course enrolments and job outcome targets.
This role will include developing relationships with JCPs, sourcing vacancies and customer referrals, matching current caseload to vacancies, and supporting customers following their employment to ensure sustained outcomes are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish rapport and build supportive but challenging relationships with Jobcentres, referral partners, clients, and customers.
- Recruit participants and efficiently complete all customer sign-up paperwork.
- Address personal and contextual barriers to employment; implement action plans; provide challenges, advice, and guidance to build confidence and employability.
- Deliver direct employment support, including:
- Job search guidance
- CV writing and application support
- Soft skills and motivational sessions (hospitality, retail, tourism focus)
- Liaise with employers to source vacancies, arrange interviews, and secure job outcomes.
- Support customers in tailoring CVs and applications to match employer requirements.
- Work towards and achieve agreed job start and job outcome targets.
- Account management of client relationships, delivering to agreed specifications.
- Identify, structure, and recommend recruitment/training solutions to meet employer and customer needs.
- Develop networks with stakeholders, including employers, Jobcentre teams, local authorities, and training providers.
- Source and manage referral routes, ensuring consistent sign-ups.
- Maintain accurate customer records and paperwork in line with quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement and adapt to the company's business needs.
- Proven experience in employer engagement, business development, recruitment, or a related field. With strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Target-driven with the ability to work under pressure to meet individual and team KPIs.
- Good understanding of employment support programmes and barriers to employment.
- Proficient in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to supporting others to succeed.
