Twin International College are delighted to announce that we will be running the world renowned NCUK International Foundation Year Programme in our Greenwich campus.

We are currently seeking Business Studies, Economics and Global Studies teachers to join our team.
As this is a newly launched course it is a very exciting opportunity for locally based part-time teachers to get involved in the programme and expand their expertise in a growing company.

Not only are we are looking for enthusiastic, competent and caring educators who are looking to teach in international education but also those who are committed to making sure students achieve their desired academic progression aims.


Contract hours:
Applicants can apply to teach on one or more of the core modules and hours will vary accordingly. Minimum 4 contact teaching hours per module. Rate per hour £35 - £40 depending on experience. 

NCUK/Twin International foundation year programme  

The NCUK/Twin IFY programme is an intensive one-year course designed to enable international students to progress on to study at a range of top UK universities. Qualifications are comparable to GCE A Level standard.
Please note all classes will be delivered face to face onsite in our Greenwich campus.


Qualifications and Experience 
-A relevant academic qualification at UK graduate level. (Essential) 
-A recognised teaching qualification in the relevant subject, such as a PGCE (highly desirable)  
-Direct experience teaching Economic, Global Studies and Business studies to A Level students (highly desirable)
-Relevant 2-year teaching experience (Essential). This experience should relate to the delivery of a Western-style syllabus using Western conventions and methodologies. Significant teaching/qualification management experience at a reputable university may also be acceptable.
-Direct experience of further and higher education in an international context (Desirable) 
-Specific experience of education in the United Kingdom (Desirable)  
-Experience of academic assessment and standards, and of quality assurance procedures (Desirable) 
-Experience of teaching English as a second language (Desirable) 
-An understanding and appreciation of private sector education (Desirable) 
-Experience of living and working in United Kingdom (Desirable) 
-Previous experience working on similar International Foundation Year Pathway Programmes (Desirable)  


Key Responsibilities:
-Ensuring course module is delivered to a high standard 
-Planning learning materials and delivering face-to-face course in line with syllabi and quality standards 
-Setting homework tasks and marking students’ work 
-Assessing students’ work and recording progress throughout the programme 
-Setting and marking course assignments in line with exam standards and protocol 
-Completing all feedback documentation and uploading to the eLearning platform within deadlines 
-Providing students with timely feedback on assessments  
-Uploading all assessment and exam documentation, results, and reports to the eLearning platform within deadlines 
-Keeping accurate and up to date record of students’ attendance 
-Keeping accurate and up to date scheme of work 
-Carrying out administrative task, such as attending weekly meeting and reporting on student progress.  
-Participating in staff training activities 
-Actively promoting a positive inclusive learning environment for all participants
-Strong understanding of safeguarding principles

Additional Information:
-Salary: £35.00 - £40.00 per hour depending on experience
-Location: Greenwich, London.
-Contract:  Fixed hours during the semesters
-Hours: Monday – Friday
