Are you passionate about empowering learners and making a difference? Look no further! We seek a dedicated ESOL Tutor to inspire and guide our students on their language-learning journey.

As an ESOL Tutor, you’ll be at the heart of our mission. Your role? Deliver engaging ESOL courses, provide coaching, support, and tutorials, and ensure program compliance. From creating dynamic lessons to tracking progress, you’ll play a vital part in our learners’ success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the program promptly, keeping learners motivated.
  • Implement strategies to achieve learning outcome targets.
  • Create and follow program layouts, adhering to guidelines.
  • Prepare lessons and adapt materials as needed.
  • Track attendance, participation, and progress.
  • Monitor and evaluate learners’ growth in key areas.
  • Handle course-related administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment.
  • Integrate literacy and digital skills training.
  • Coach, tutor, and offer learning support.
  • Conduct baseline needs assessments.
  • Manage the induction process.
  • Organise external assistance when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of clients and referrals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • At least two years of English Language teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted’s expectations for high-quality education.
  • Business context experience.
  • Experience delivering teacher training and webinars.
  • Familiarity with British Council teacher development materials.
  • Must hold a valid UK driving license with access to a car.

Additional Information
Salary: £28,000.00 per annum depending on experience
Location: Hybrid in and around Kent   
Contract:  Permanent – Full-time
Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30
