We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join and assist in basic kitchen duties within our Eastbourne centre.  

Responsibilities
  • Presentable and wear the uniform provided to you meanwhile maintaining personal hygiene standards. 
  • Following food safety legislation regarding hygiene and cross-contamination. 
  • Maintain food hygiene standards.
  • Serving meals to our students, ensuring a friendly service. 
  • Cleaning of the kitchen and canteen environment.
  • Dishwashing.
  • All additional duties as instructed by the Chef or line manager on duty. 
Education /Qualification 
  • BTEC Level 2 or above
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate as a minimum.
Skills and Experience
Essential 
  • 1 year’s experience working as a Kitchen Assistant.
  • BTEC Level 2 professional diploma as a chef
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
Additional Information
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Location: Eastbourne 
Contract:  Ad-hoc as required 0 hours
Hours: Shift pattern between Monday and Sunday as required.
