We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join and assist in basic kitchen duties within our Eastbourne centre.

Responsibilities

Presentable and wear the uniform provided to you meanwhile maintaining personal hygiene standards.
Following food safety legislation regarding hygiene and cross-contamination.
Maintain food hygiene standards.
Serving meals to our students, ensuring a friendly service.
Cleaning of the kitchen and canteen environment.
Dishwashing.
All additional duties as instructed by the Chef or line manager on duty.

Education /Qualification

BTEC Level 2 or above
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate as a minimum.

Skills and Experience
Essential

1 year’s experience working as a Kitchen Assistant.
BTEC Level 2 professional diploma as a chef
Level 2 Food Hygiene
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Additional Information
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Location: Eastbourne
Contract: Ad-hoc as required 0 hours
Hours: Shift pattern between Monday and Sunday as required.
